why i hate ferrari.and always will:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/h ... t/formula_one/8769619.stm

i didnt see that idiot in charge of ferrari jumping up and down and screaming "unfair" when schumacher won the british GP in the PITLANE after his stop and go, because the stewards took so long on reaching a decision.

love the way that "notanillusion" keeps kissing schumachers ass.

a certain ex gp driver who has been his team mate discribed his actions in a very bad light.enough for me.

he is the monty python black knight of F1......"none shall pass"

his ego is such that its almost like "how dare these pups attempt to take me...dont they know who i am?"

good to see his younger less experienced team mate is showing him the way in equal equipment.

Quote from JPeace : Since going there the UK has had 3 different PMs and USA has had 2 different Presidents.

i guess thats the freedom that our way of life gives.

how long was saddam in power?
would he have ever given the people of iraq the choice in a new leader?

imo, the us and uk was right to get rid of him,(maybe it should have been done the first time) we just fecked up when it came to cleaning up the aftermath

Quote from oscarhardwick :Is it really even a war... i dont even know why we are fighting in half of these countries :|

please note, this is only my own opinion.

we are facing a "WW3"

not the one that most imagined. communist russia vs the west, but a extremist group who have no country to hit back at.

i am not anti islam, but these groups hate our way of life and religion(s) and wish to remove us from the world they want.

if we pull out of afghanistan we would be handing them an ideal training ground which they could use for attacks.
the taliban would be more than happy to let bin laden and al-qaeda back, plus they would go back to executing women at public events, and stopping afghan children have any sort of education.

IMO, we need to finish what we started.

excellent race, even if the redbulls hadnt wrecked each other, and im a button/mclaren fan.

for what its worth, it was vettels fault, and if i was CH, i would have given him a dead arm on the pitwall, with the cameras watching!

seeing the top 4 cars lap after lap so close is what top racing is all about.

loved buttons move on heir schumacer.

glad to see that jens is making all the doubters eat their words!

Quote from brambram :For sale in the netherlands(can be sent within the netherlands or local pickup)

Fanatec Gt3 RS wheel in great condition, only a few months old. No pedals or shifter included.

Logitech G25, scratch on the logitech logo and I had to replace the wiring of the pedals a while ago. Works perfectly.

Act Labs Force RS shifter, 1998 model, so will only work with windows XP 32 bit.

If selling on here is not allowed, then of course feel free to remove this thread.

how much are you asking for the shifter?

whats hard to understand?

do the lights go green before the SC pits?

nope, after....

but,

if the rules state that if its the last lap and there is no overtaking, then he should have held station.

a good try by the red baron, but tough titties it didnt work!

bitter?

i guess you reap what you sow.

schuey always made his team mates life hard at ferrari, so if one or two are a bit vocal about his poor comeback then its tough titties for him.

two answers imo

1. join iracing. nothing is free in this life, if you want something of quality, you have to pay for it.
iracing isnt that expensive.
want a nice 42" tv? would you expect to pay what you would have to pay for a tiny portable?

sticking with lfs, could a system be used where your car has to be repaired with credits?
100 for a front wing, for example.
each racer is given, say, 300 credits in their account and have to manage their repairs.
if they run out of credits, they cant repair the car and no racing.
to earn new credits they have to run offline in time trials similar to iracing.
this may teach hotheaded newbies/idiots that there is a concequence to unsafe driving and hopefully being forced to drive clean offline will raise the quality of driving standards.

just my thoughts, now im off for a pretty damn clean race on a certain paying race sim, good luck LFS racers!

Quote from Joris :I started a months trial yesterday and I really like it. After some test laps I had two races I have never experienced such decent ontrack conduct before.

its why i love it so much.

in 6 months ive experienced a few moments of muppetry.and you would get that in real racing.

90% of the guys there are clean and considerate..........id say the opposite is true on LFS now.

seems intrepid has a new friend!

for what its worth.....

this "election" was a forgone conclusion IMO.

mosley backed todt.....the fia backed ferrari, and now the new FIA president once worked at fer..............oh sh*t..you can work it out.

and just so im not against todt because of his past......i wouldnt have given the job to ron dennis either, because of his links to mclaren.

the best man lost.

Quote from Storm_Cloud :Quite sad for Barrichello as he drives into oblivion with Williams next year that his one true chance to win the championship has passed him by.

On the other hand, happy for Jenson that he took his one and only chance to take the title.

With relative stability in the regulations over the winter Brawn will struggle to match the development pace of Ferrari, McLaren and Red Bull - all of which have caught up Brawn's performance since the start of the season even with a testing ban.

wont you feel foolish if brawn and jenson do well next year!

Quote from Mp3 Astra :Fantastic stuff. If anyone was in doubt that Jenson deserved this championship, his drive in this race should shut them up! The overtaking maneuvres he pulled were simply stunning. I mean, could Vettel ever pull off as many amazing passes like that? Could anyone in the current field make moves as good as that? I can only think of a couple. Jenson knew what he had to do, and he did it in flamboyant and skillful style. Fan-funking-tastic.

nuff said!

well done jenson......i wouldnt have you in our band, but you can drive us to the gigs!

nice one to the brawn team, unlucky rubens.but the best guy won.

from a button fans point of view, he makes the races interesting.......good recovery drive, and held off the pressure from kubica enough to score some valiable points.

good win for vettel though.

Quote from Intrepid :It's his business at the end of the day. It aint some freakin' public service. Think you can do better? Go set your own series up!

As much as Bernie isn't the most welcome of characters he did take F1 from the dark ages where you were lucky to see a full race live to what we have today which is a very marketable, and tight product.. even with the so-called scandals that keep F1 in the headlins while maintaining the huge ratings.

i never said i could do better, i just wouldnt be rude and obnoxious.
i wonder what the "average joe" sat at home made of him?
and this is the man who runs the whole shop.

and i would change the word "ratings' in your last sentence to, oh.....how about "income"?

interesting for the brawns in the race.........go jens? hope so (just grab a few points)

why does ecclestone have to be such a prat?

this is F1, not the secret service. what a rude, obnoxious uninteresting little twerp he is.
i say let half a dozen ex drivers run F1 for a season, including the tv rights and retire the old fart.
